A mixture model for the thermomechanics of slurry or mushy materials is developed (a two velocities, one temperature approach). The solid and liquid phases are modelled by a hypoelastic material and a linear viscous fluid simultaneously. The notion of a pressure of mixture in a whole is discussed.
