The scientific talks presented at the symposium focused on the following subjects: equations in one several variables, equations connected to iteration, equations for multiplace functions, conditional equations, general structure theory, extension and regularity theorems, stability, functional inequalities, equations on algebraic structures, equations concerning t-norms, equations characterizing special functions, and equations for operator valued functions. Interesting connections with several other parts of mathematics and important applications to probability, information measures, mean values, mathematical economics and automata theory were presented and generated much discussion.
