Positive Boolean dependencies (Q1100944)

The consequence relation of the class of Boolean dependencies in relational databases is shown to be not the same as the consequence relation of propositional logic in contrast to natural interpretations. The paper proves however, that restricting to Boolean terms, the two consequence relations become equivalent. Some familiar combinatorial objects are also considered as examples.
