We prove relevant properties of positive functions which allow us to study the dynamic behaviour of positive automata networks by means of Lyapunov functionals. In the antisymmetric case we relate the description of the limit behaviour with the maximization of a seminorm over the state space. The class of automata studied contains the threshold networks.
