Under a reasonable assumpton it is shown that the set \(Tot_ A\) of pure states of a physical system provided with the Scott information topology is homeomorphic to a subset of the Cantor discontinuum. Moreover, any ``smooth'' nonlinear time evolution with the set \(Tot_ A\) as the phase space has a linear Hilbert space representation.
