Linear differential-algebraic equations with higher index lead to ill- posed problems. Therefore, they should be solved by regularization methods. The aim of the note is to extend some results on least-squares collocation methods and to prove the convergence of a least-squares collocation method applied to linear differential-algebraic equations. Some numerical examples are presented.
