A stochastic vector process is analyzed that describes the dynamics of a control system in the case of a possible failure of the control when the process leaves the assigned region. By approximately solving the problem, the probability is obtained that the process does not leave the admissible rectangular region. The thus-obtained solution is compared with conventional solutions on a specific numerical example.
