Regularity of weak solutions of a class of degenerate linear elliptic equations is proved under natural assumptions on the data. Using anisotropic Sobolev spaces and Fourier decomposition of solutions the author proves higher differentiability of a solution in regular or strongly regular directions of an anisotropic elliptic operator.
