We investigate Schrödinger-type equations. We give a condition for the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the boundary value problem for the equation considered. It turns out that in some peculiar cases the boundary values do not determine a unique solution. At the end of the paper we sketch the analogous results for the stochastic case, as well.
