The authors derive a result concerning the class of Bazilevich functions of type \(\beta\) and order \(\alpha\), denoted by A(\(\alpha\),\(\beta)\), defined in the unit disk. They prove that if \(f\in A(\alpha,\beta)\) with \(\alpha >0\) and \(| \beta /\alpha | \leq 1/2\) then f is univalent in the unit disk.
