This paper solves the Dirichlet problem for the complex Monge-Ampère equation on a simply-connected, negatively curved Kähler manifold. Existence and uniqueness of solutions are established using the method of stochastic resolution which was introduced by \textit{B. Gaveau} [J. Funct. Anal. 25, 391-411 (1977; Zbl 0356.35071)].
