Stationary dissipative structures in a nonlinear thermally conducting medium with absorption are investigated. A computational algorithm is offered, which applies a penalty method to the problem with a free boundary. An alternating triangular iteration method is used in the program. Calculations with two-dimensional model problems are performed.
