Asymptotic behaviour of the ratio of Christoffel functions for weights \(W^ 2\) and \(W^ 2g\) (Q1104507)

The limit relation: \[ \lim_{n\to \infty}\lambda_ n(W^ 2g,x)/\lambda (W^ 2,x)=g(x) \] involving the two Christoffel functions \(\lambda_ n(W\) 2g,x) and \(\lambda_ n(W^ 2,x)\) and associated with the weights \(d\alpha_ g(x)=W^ 2(x)g(x)dx\) and \(d\alpha(x)=W^ 2(x)dx\) respectively are established. Applications are also indicated. The paper is well written.
