Postulating a \((3+k)\)-dimensional space-time, the electrostatic interactions are calculated under assumptions which restrict the observability of higher dimensional phenomena to those of a \((3+k)\)- dimensional, i.e. ``usual'' world. Then it is claimed that k must be 3 and therefore the vector calculus is generalized to those of 6-component vectors. Hereafter parts of electromagnetic interactions are calculated. The mentioned restrictive assumptions are based on the ``fact'' that irregardless of the dimension of the space-time, the observer is a \((3+1)\)-dimensional one and can only observe the same dimensional projections.
