It has been claimed to be a conclusion attributed to \textit{W. L. Yin} [Z. Angew. Math. Phys. 35, 430-434 (1984; Zbl 0563.76032)] that circulation- preserving motion does not accelerate in a magnetic field. The results of this paper disprove this claim, and many physical interpretations of flow pattern are specified.
