Previous switching control results [see \textit{M. Fu} and \textit{B. R. Barmish}, IEEE Trans. Autom. Control AC-31, 1097-1103 (1986; Zbl 0607.93041)] are extended to discrete-time system with output disturbance. It is shown that the computation required can be reduced significantly in the discrete-time case by adding a new update loop in the control schemes.
