The Selberg trace formula for groups without Eisenstein series (Q1105632)

Let G be a reductive Lie group, \(\Gamma\) a nonuniform lattice in G and X a nontrivial finite dimensional unitary representation of \(\Gamma\). The author considers the spectral theory and the general Selberg trace formula for pairs \((G,\Gamma)\) that do not possess Eisenstein series.
