The author corrects an error in lemma 2 of the paper cited in the title [ibid. 31, 1-4 (1984; Zbl 0529.13011)] and further points out that Puiseux's theorem does not extend to finite characteristic [cf. \textit{N. Bourbaki}, Algebra, Chapitre V, ``Commutative fields'' (1989), {\S} 4, Ex. 2].
