This paper studies the existence of smooth or PL codimension one imbeddings in Euclidean space for punctured lens spaces or connected sums of lens spaces. The key point is an equivalence between the existence of imbeddings and the existence of homology cobordisms. The special point of this paper is the case of a fundamental group having order divisible by two primes and the extension to homotopy lens spaces.
