Any regenerative subset of the positive half axis is the closed range of a subordinator. This correspondence is extended to cover stationary regenerative subsets of the real line. The main tool is Kuznetsov's theory of Markov processes on \(\sigma\)-finite measure spaces. The paper is nicely written.
