A thin three-dimensional region (interface with finite thickness) embedded in and interacting with a surrounding continuum is considered; moreover the surface geometry is time dependent and the thin region is semipermeable. For it there are derived transport and specific balance equations for a multiconstituent fluid in heat and material exchange with the surrounding media. Also there is presented a rigorous approach to constitutive equations, for a viscous, heat conducting fluid and for a mixture of chemically reacting fluids. By a limiting process (thickness\(\to 0)\) the author obtains a closed set of boundary conditions for a moving boundary.
