The authors describe how multitasking on the CRAY-2 and CRAY X-MP can be exploited to improve the efficiency of the calculation of angular integrals concerning N-electron Hamiltonian operator. They emphasize the superiority of the dynamic load balancing technique with two or four processors. A remarkable result is that for the present application, the CRAY X-MP with 2 processors is more efficient than the CRAY-2 with 4 processors, probably because of the memory access.
