This paper contains the two-dimensional solutions of the problem in bipolar coordinates. The inclusions are elastic and perfectly bonded to an infinite elastic plate under the action of an isolated force. (i) X applied at the origin in the positive direction of x-axis; and (ii) Y applied at the origin in the positive direction of y-axis. The stresses on the boundary, in each case, are found numerically and presented graphically.
