A parametric curve and surface is defined by choosing the set of Bernstein polynomials as the collection of blending functions. This curve is a generalization of the Ferguson curve, Bézier curve, B-spline curve, Ball's rational curve and conics. The conditions for various continuities of the curve segments and surfaces patches at the common boundaries are given to maintain a low order composite curve and surface.
