The authors recall the definition of the G-integral of \textit{M. W. Botsko} [Am. Math. Mon. 93, 728-732 (1986; Zbl 0619.26007)] which is a kind of simplified Perron integral. The main result of the paper says that the G- integral is not as general as the Henstock integral (for example, unbounded functions are not G-integrable).
