The finite element method for solving the Vlasov-Poisson equations described in Part I [see the summary above (Zbl 0658.76111)] has been tested on a number of standard problems - linear and nonlinear Landau damping of plasma waves, the two-stream and bump-on-tail instabilities, and the accuracy of the method verified by comparison with results from other methods.
