New types of generalized composition series of a module are introduced and studied. The concepts of P-cocomposition series and composition P- cochain of M, respectively, for R-modules P and M are defined. The results are applied to quasi-projective modules, \(\Sigma^*(\Delta^*)\)-projective modules, etc.
