Assuming (CH) it is shown that there exists a \(T_ 2\), zero-dimensional, scattered, locally compact \(w\Delta\)-space with a \(G_{\delta}\)-diagonal which is not developable. Moreover, it is shown that, on the other hand, every normal locally compact \(w\Delta\)-space with a \(G_{\delta}\)- diagonal is developable.
