Starting from the wavefunctions and \(\tau\)-functions for KdV-type equations (i.e. the Fock repesentation of Clifford algebras), the corresponding linear equations are derived. Only equations related to \(A_ n^{(1)}\), \(D^{(2)}_{b+1}\) and \(D_ n^{(1)}\) are treated explicitly. It is noted that the corresponding Lax equations agree with those introduced by Drinfeld and Sokolov.
