The author gives a practical procedure to use the parametrization of a nonsingular cubic by Jacobi elliptic functions [cf. \textit{A. Clebsch}, Über einen Satz von Steiner und einige Punkte der Theorie der Kurven dritter Ordnung. J. Reine Angew. Math. 63, 94-121 (1864)] for computer graphics. The main point is a transformation of the equation to a standard form and then a backtransformation of the parameter values.
