This is a continuation of earlier papers [Commun. Algebra 12, 239--243 (1984; Zbl 0534.17010); Linear Algebra Appl. 64, 175--181 (1985; Zbl 0549.17015)] dealing with derivations in genetic algebras. The first part includes a section on inner derivations. Part two deals with duplication and its effect on derivations and idempotents. For Part IV, see Algèbres génétiques, Cah.
