This paper is devoted to the correspondence principle in the linear creep theory of aging homogeneous and isotropic bodies. The authors study two- dimensional boundary value problems in the quasi-static theory for media developing slits and cavities. The displacement, strain and stress fields are expressed by means of the solutions of some boundary value problems for elastic bodies in the linear theory of elastostatics.
