An improved version of the k-kL two-equation turbulence model which predicts both free and near-wall flows with a single set of model coefficients is presented. The revised model is tested by application to a number of plane and axisymmetric flows of boundary layer type. The computed results for both mean and turbulence quantities are in fairly good agreement with existing measurements.
