The author defines varying-structure linear systems over finite abelian groups by \(y(t)=\sum_{\zeta,n\in G}\beta (\zeta^{-1}\circ t,\eta^{- 1}\circ t)v(\zeta)u(\eta)\) which generalizes the linear invariant systems for which \(v=1\). This expands the class of implementable input-output pairs and enables reduction in approximation errors. He studies methods for rapid computation, synthesis, and error detection.
