The author obtains the derivation algebra of a gametic algebra with linked loci. He does this by first studying automorphisms and then making use of the relationship between Lie groups and the corresponding Lie algebras. The study of derivations in the case of linked loci also occurs in the reviewer's paper, Commun. Algebra 16, No.8, 1525-1542 (1988; Zbl 0648.17012), section 8.
