A locally convex space satisfies the Mackey convergence condition if every convergent sequence therein is Mackey convergent. The author related this condition to the existence of webs as defined by W. Robertson. More precisely, he uses the concepts of sequentially webbed resp. strictly webbed spaces to show a) that a sequentially webbed space satisfies the Mackey convergence condition and b) that a fast complete, strictly webbed space which satisfies the Mackey convergence condition is sequentially webbed.
