A note on some static scalar-gravitational fields (Q1114949)

In this note extending the technique developed for static fields by \textit{N. De} [Prog. Theor. Phys. 32, 177-178 (1964; Zbl 0124.450)] to the static plane-symmetric solution of \textit{A. H. Taub} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 53, 472-490 (1951; Zbl 0044.228)] and the conformastat gravitational universe of \textit{A. Das} [J. Math. Phys. 12, 1136 (1981)] solutions for coupled gravitational and zero-rest-mass scalar fields have been obtained. Furthermore, it is found that the singularities of these empty spaces cannot be removed by the introduction of zero-rest-mass scalar fields.
