Singular perturbation analysis of linear systems with scalar quantized control (Q1115392)

The paper discusses the effect of quantization on a standard linear singularly perturbed control system with constant matrices. In the open- loop structure the control is decomposed into a slow switching and a fast switching component. The open-loop structure uses quantization of the feedback and it is separated into a slow and fast reduced order model. Sufficient conditions are given for the asymptotic stability of the scalar quantized feedback system. A numerical example illustrates the discussion.
