We give the weights of the dual code of the (MELAS) cyclic code \((3^ k- 1,2k)\) over GF(3) generated by \(m_ 1(x)m_{-1}(x)\) where \(m_ i(x)\) denotes the minimum polynomial of \(\alpha^ i\), \(\alpha\) primitive root of \(GF(3^ k)\).
