Let A be an abelian variety and c be a point of finite order. It is proved that the cycle \(c^*(a)\) is rationally equivalent to a for any algebraic cycle a on A which is algebraically \(equivalent\quad to\quad 0.\) Here \(c^*\) is a translation on the \(point\quad a\). There are applications to a description of the set of effective cycles equivalent to a given one.
