By a paper of \textit{M. Steinberger} and \textit{J. West} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc., New Ser. 12, 217-220 (1985; Zbl 0572.57021)] an element in the Kernel: (Equivariant controlled finiteness obstruction \(\to\) Equivariant finiteness obstruction) can be realized as a compact G-manifold which cannot have an equivariant handle structure. Sufficiently many numerical information is collected to find a situation where a monomorphism cannot exist.
