We consider sequences of mappings \(\{T_{\alpha}\}\) from a metric space X into itself, which converge to a contraction mapping T. We define \(T^{n+1}=T_{n+1}T^ n\), \(T^ 1=T_ 1\) and we investigate the convergence of the sequence \(\{T^ nx\}\) for any point x in X.
