The authors consider nonlinear singular integral equation of the form \[ (*)\quad u(y)=\lambda /2\pi \int^{2\pi}_{0}F(y,s,u(s))\cot (s- y)/2\quad ds. \] They obtain solutions of (*) in generalized Hölder spaces by the method of successive approximations. The rate of convergence for the approximate solution of (*) is determined.
