A controller design is discussed that stabilizes a linear continuous process control and also a modal control for which the gains of the process transfer function are unknown. It is only known that they belong to a certain set which is an adaptation class. The outputs and inputs are measured but not their derivatives when generating the control input. The process map be nonminimal phase, the number of zeros may be unknown and arbitrary (under the constraint of process realizability) and subjected to a bounded disturbance of known bound.
