Subdynamics in the time-dependent formalism (Q1118894)

By means of the recently derived analytical continuation procedure of Coveney and George, together with Henin's theorem in the dynamics of correlations, we show that the complete correlation subdynamics of a large dynamical system may be obtained within an explicitly time- dependent formalism. This result represents a significant extension of the earlier work of Balescu and Misguich insofar as the time-independent problem is concerned, and brings us a stage nearer to a subdynamics-based description of irreversible processes in open systems, which are described by a time-dependent Liouville operator.
