Author's comment to ``On decentralized hierarchic stabilization of a large-scale system with constraints'' (Q1119211)

In order to verify the existence of the interconnected subsystems of the particular structure given previously by the author [ibid. 6, 391-419 (1987; Zbl 0637.93009)], and to show the practical applicability of the proposed design method, it is desirable to point out that this particular structure of the large-scale system described can be derived, for example, from Lure'e-type subsystems connected in series (cascade). Lur'e-type systems and their field of applications are very well known; consequently, this provides a justification of the proposed design method.
