Fully discrete approximations of parabolic boundary-value problems with nonsmooth boundary data are considered. The optimal rates of convergence in \(L_ p[0,T;L_ 2(\Omega)]\) for boundary input in \(L_ p[0,T;L_ 2(\Gamma)]\) are derived. Our approach is based on semigroup theory combined with the theory of singular integrals.
