The paper considers the relationship between the weak convergence of measures on a separable Hilbert space H equipped with the \(w^*\)- and strong topology (denoted respectively by \(H_ w\) and \(H_ s)\). Assuming the weak convergence (weak compactness) of measures in \(H_ w\), conditions are shown necessary to ensure weak convergence (weak compactness) in \(H_ s\).
