The authors deal with perturbations of stable linear differential or integrodifferential systems in abstract spaces analysing the robustness of the stability. For systems governed by semigroups or resolvent operators they characterize the robustness in terms of stability radii. In great detail, the authors exhibit the complicated behaviour of time varying systems governed by mild evolution operators.
