Fredholm integral equations of the second kind are solved using the Nyström method, the perturbed Galerkin method and the perturbed collocation method. The integral transformation operator is substituted by an n-point quadrature operator for the presentation of the equivalence of Nyström, Galerkin and collocation methods. The convergence of the numerical solutions to the exact solutions is analyzed. A relevant parallel algorithm for the two-point boundary value problem is described.
